Today, I chopped off all my hair! :DD

It was so super long and finally I decided to cut it and donate my hair to Locks of Love. I cut off the required 10 inches and then got my hair layered and I think it's way cute :D It's really short and it's gonna be so nice and easy to wash and care for my hair now :D My hair will always grow back, so I'm happy to give it away to someone who needs it more than me. A simple way to make somebody's day.

AIDS Walk 2006 San Francisco!

I'm participating in the AIDS Walk on July 16th, and I'm really excited about it. I was in it last year too, and this year Sang and I are the team leaders for the Academy of Art University Team! This year, I have set a fundraising goal for myself for $300. Right now, I've recieved donations adding up to $125, WHOOO!

HURRAY craigslist.org! I just bought two nice used bookcases from two different people for $17, when I'd pay $25+ as well as tax and shipping for new ones at IKEA.

Ugh but I feel kinda crappy right now because I didn't wake up today until 6pm. Sooo stressed lately!! And then I stayed up until 4 in the morning playing war3 :D

Went to First Thursday with Shan Shan and Andrew yesterday and it was major fun. Andrew's mom is the coolest, she graduated from art school, and she wants us to come over in the summer so she can get out all her oil paints and just paint random things.

Now everyone's going back to school and I have absolutely nothing to do and no one to hang out with for the rest of my ridiculously long winter break...

Of course it has to ice and snow the night BEFORE we're scheduled to fly into Portland. Sheesh. Anyways though, Portland was then like "heh heh heh, just kidding!" and it all melted in time so that the flight was delayed a mere ten minutes and we didn't get stranded at PDX airport.

My sister visited for several days and we had fun just messing around in the city. It was super fun YAY We cooked food and went shopping and she wanted to get a manicure so we went and got manicures. We made the most awesome vegan choco-chip cookies, they were better than normal ones! I'll put recipe in my food blog.

My warcraft subscription died and I'm sad because I'm too broke to buy even just one month for winter break, hrmm

The house is lacking a major necessity for survival: food. My mom comes back from Asia tomorrow morning though so that will happily be fixed soon :D

Scrambled Tofu with Soy Crumbles Wraps

Lightly oil a skillet and toss in diced onions and carrots. Slice extra-firm tofu into 1/2 inch cubes, add to skillet when onions are soft. Add random spices of your choice; I put in paprika and tumeric. Add crumbled soy burger (Alanna recommends Boca Burgers, they are the bestest). Add sauce of your choice, I used a Korean BBQ sauce. Saute until soy crumbles and tofu are warm all the way through. Wrap up in whole wheat tortillas with lettuce. Gorge yourself.

I decided whenever I make an extra-fabulous meal, I'll write what I did as a sort-of recipe.
